On Wednesday 26th April 2017, Efya again made history for Ghana, as she performed at the Sound of Brazil (SOB) in New York, which is considered a rite of passage for artists looking to make it big in the US.
The Ghanaian songstress will be the first musician of Ghanaian origin, to perform at the 500 capacity venue, previously conquered by the likes of Outkast, Drake, Kid Cudi, DMX, Kendrick Lamar and more.
The artist announced this achievement with humility, as she took to Instagram to write, Last night was a dream. Thank you, NYC.
Speaking to Efya, she sounded optimistic about the year ahead. Stating that her gingams are in for continuous thrills, as she intends to keep giving Africa a world class representation.
